Jersea was started with the simple goal to encourage an understanding and passion for the underwater realm around the island and its reefs.
Working alongside local fisherman, scientists, environment groups and others, we endeavour to nurture a passion for our underwater world to ensure its prosperity for future generations.

The sea is Jersey’s way of life
Jersey has a unique marine ecosystem with enormous biodiversity.
For generations humans have had a deep relationship with the sea. A symbiosis where actions on land affect the sea, and vice versa. We rely on the waters around our island for food, fun, transport and to help offset the effect of an increasingly populated world.
If cared for correctly, our marine habitat can help to combat climate change, protect local livelihoods, and provide something for future generations of islanders to be truly proud of.
